Screenings, Evaluations

and Treatment in a

1:1 Session

Contact Us

We offer a 30 minute complimentary phone consultation to address any questions or concerns. It is important to us that we take this time to be thorough in our responses and begin to establish a relationship with you as we will be working together to enhance your child's communication skills. Please contact us either via phone or email. We look forward to hearing from you!

Complete an Evaluation

Our evaluations are conducted to gather more information about the client and determine whether your child may benefit from services. Our evaluations are comprehensive, however, we are not required to conduct our own independent evaluation to establish a plan of therapy to conduct services (e.g. use of previous educational and/or private evaluation report).

Our treatment plans are formulated by utilizing both formal and informal data. We will work together to create a treatment plan that is individualized to your child. This treatment plan includes: therapy goals, frequency, length of sessions, and estimated duration of treatment. You will receive a copy of both your comprehensive evaluation and treatment plan.

Experience Progress

Your child will begin to experience progress and growth as they begin one-on-one speech and language therapy. Our goal is for your child to not only experience progress, but to also help them build confidence as they gain new skills. Each therapy session will be individualized, but we intend for our sessions to be engaging, fun, unique and an overall positive experience.

Why Tip of the Tongue?

Meghan | Parent

I had my first child in April 2020, and being a first time mother during a pandemic brought forward many challenges. As you do, you tackle them as they come — but when I realized my child wasn’t picking up on speech as expected, I wasn’t sure where to even begin. That’s when we turned to Megan.
Right away, Megan was reassuring and supportive as she sent over information regarding early sound development, language development and milestones. Sure enough, as we were concerned, my son was not meeting his milestones. But this time, I was relieved to have someone to rely on for next steps. Megan has a unique gift to guide you in the right direction while being calm and reassuring—which was much needed. She provided us with information on hand cues in order to facilitate the production of early sounds, and while it helped some, he was still not meeting milestones.
It was then Megan who first advised us go to a pediatrician regarding our concerns with his hearing. Thank goodness she did, because that gave us the confidence to schedule an appointment. Just as we suspected, my son wasn’t hearing properly. Megan’s guidance and support allowed us to catch this early on and because of that, my son was able to get tubes in his ears to resolve the issue. Kids are resilient and early intervention is key. Even in the middle of the pandemic, Megan provided us with the support and confidence we needed to catch this early and make sure action was taken as soon as possible.
I cannot recommend Megan enough. As a mother, I know how you want the very best for your child, and Megan is the very best. I know Megan cares about my son, and having another person on your team to advocate for you child is incredibly valuable. Even in the middle of the pandemic, I was not alone. Megan will always be on your team and not only is she an asset to helping my son, but she was someone I could lean on.
I’ll leave you with a quote from my son — we “love Miss Megan!” and you will too.

Kieley | Parent

Megan has truly been such a blessing and inspiration to my family and my son. My son has struggled with speech at 2 years old, but Megan is always so patient and kind to him! He loves seeing her and is always excited to play and learn! Thank you Megan for helping my son continue to grow!

Tracey | Clinical Supervisor

Megan and I have worked alongside together in the educational setting. As her clinical supervisor, she came prepared to each session, with a level of creativity. When her sessions involved multiple students, she individualized sessions to meet their personalized needs. She has worked with students with varying disorders (i.e., Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, etc.) and severities. Megan provides meaningful therapy and I saw many students demonstrate great progress. She is dependable, trustworthy, and positive; as well as forms excellent relationships with both children and their families. I would highly recommend Megan as your speech language pathologist!

I worked with Megan a few years ago when we ran an early language preschool group together. In this group the focus was on early childhood speech and language development in a small group setting. Megan is a fantastic SLP and very passionate about her work. She is creative, inspiring, intuitive, and caring. Following evidence-based research, she provides therapy and education to families as well as ways to help them succeed with their child’s development. I am grateful to have met and worked with Megan.

Megan provided therapy for my high school class once a week for a year and I was impressed with her exceptional communication and collaboration skills. She worked with the team to understand each student's individual needs, and her approach was either working with the class as a whole or providing individual support. Megan treated the students with the utmost respect and patience, which created a supportive and encouraging environment for them to learn. As the year progressed, I noticed that each student started to meet milestones such as increased vocabulary and better social communication skills. For example, students who interacted with an AAC device were putting together functional sentences, replying with their AAC device, and using it out in the community. I greatly appreciated Megan's punctuality, honesty, and ability to create such a positive learning environment for the students. They were consistently engaged and eager to learn.

I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with her and am grateful for her contribution to our team. She had a positive influence on every student and formed enduring professional connections. I trusted her as a source of guidance and she consistently showed a strong commitment to making a meaningful impact. I highly recommend her speech therapy services to anyone seeking them.
